Tytuł: Analysis of multiphase synchronous machines


Streszczenie: The paper deals with analyses of multiphase fractional slot permanent magnet synchronous machines with concentrated windings. The advantages of studied machines have been discussed. Studied in the paper multiphase machines contain the number of phases in multiple of 3, facilitating the application of commonly used 3–phase intelligent power modules to build the multiphase supply system. The coding convention, an algorithm and software for synthesis and analysis of multiphase fractional slot concentrated windings have been developed. To verify presented algorithm the field approach has been employed. The professional FEM package Maxwell has been used to determine functional parameters of the test machine with different types of windings. Selected results of simulations of studied multiphase machines with different phase number and winding layouts have been presented and analyzed.
